SO

The SO (special education) department of De Groote Aard consists of:
2 junior primary school groups (± 10 pupils) and 3 senior primary school groups (± 12 pupils). Pupils are educated here between the ages of 4 and 12/13.

The educational offer is strongly focused on stimulating the self-reliance and the social and societal skills of our pupils. Focusing on the (preparatory) learning conditions, learning to read, calculate and write, language, vocabulary and physical exercise.
The groups are composed based on age and learning route. We try to take into account as few different learning routes per group as possible. Within the SO there is occasional cross-group work.
